Exit by:Larm

February 23, 2009

Whew! Finally, by:Larm is over. It was three amazing days with lots of gigging, lots of mingling and lots of drinking. The way it should be, in other words.

Our bands got some really good reviews on the gigs, especially My Little Pony’s 9/10 from Musikknyheter.no, but also The Little Hands of Asphalt’s 7/10, and Simon Says No!’s review in Dagbladet is worth a mention. MLP was also called “pure perfection”, by by:Larm’s own paper. Flattering!

All though by:Larm is over, we’re really not taking a rest her at the Spoon Train offices. Our friends in Spoon Train Live are booking a tremendous number of gigs at the moment, check the upcoming shows here. Here over at the recorded music department we are looking forward to releasing the debut album of The Little Hands of Asphalt, as mentioned before. The cover art is in!

Also, the record is finally available for pre-order. Do it right here.

Lama - Welcome To Lamaland out january 12.!!!

January 5, 2009

The new wonderkid of norwegian post-rock is Nils Martin Larsen. No doubt about it! We’re proud to be releasing his debut album as Lama, his “band”. The record is mostly mellow, cinematic post-rock influenced by Kim Hiorthøy-esque electronica.
